Hi, I’m Katie Okolita! I’m a designer, front-end developer, and creative generalist who helps early-stage startups move fast and look sharp. I work across branding, design, and development to help founders bring their ideas to life—from pitch deck to landing page to MVP.

MY PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

I started my career working with design firms across Boston, New York, and Phoenix—partnering with clients like the United Nations, Hilton Hotels, CVS, and Irving Oil. After years of collaborating with agencies and studios, I founded my own practice, where I spent over a decade building brands, websites, and digital products for small businesses, nonprofits, and startups.

In 2021, I joined the venture capital firm Pillar VC. There, I helped shape the firm’s digital ecosystem and worked closely with founders across industries. My time in venture gave me an inside view of what early-stage teams really need—and where good design, clear communication, and fast execution can make all the difference.

After four years in venture, I’m back focusing on the kind of work I love most: helping startups move quickly and tell their story through design. Early teams don’t need a months-long brand process—they need a logo, a clean deck, a landing page that makes sense, and a smart, cohesive brand across all. That’s where I come in.
